Director/Actor, Robert Funaro is no stranger to 59E59 Theaters-- having an acclaimed performance in Fresh Kills, and he is elated to be back! Funaro is well known for his recurring character, Eugene Pontecorvo in the award winning HBO T.V. series The Sopranos, garnering him an Emmy Ballot. He has a recurring role in Martin Scorsese's new HBO series VINYL.  FILM credits include: American Gangster directed by Ridley Scott.  David Chase's Not Fade Away. Charlie Mantle directed by Fred Carpenter. Funaro's directorial credits include How Alfo Learned to Love at America Opera Center and Etta Jenks starring Maureen Van Zandt.
